Platform Fees
How Fingaon's platform commission works for firms, and why it never appears on a client's invoice.
Fingaon charges service-partner firms a platform commission on work delivered through the platform.
- The commission is typically in the 9–12% range, depending on the firm's plan (the Basic plan sits at the higher end; Premium plans lower it). It is also capped at a fixed maximum amount (e.g. ₹99-₹199) per engagement.
- It is billed to the firm, not the client, and is reconciled through the firm's settlements.
- For Service Packages: When a package is fulfilled by multiple providers, the platform fee is calculated and allocated at the component level. Each firm is only charged a commission for the specific components they fulfill.
- Fingaon's own GST on that commission is a separate liability tracked by the platform — it is never added to a client invoice.
Note
For clients: the platform fee does not change what you pay. Your invoice reflects the firm's professional fee, applicable GST, and any pass-through charges. See GST vs non-GST.
Tip
For firms: your effective commission depends on your plan. Review it under Settlements and Pricing in your Workspace.
