Notifications
How Fingaon keeps you and your clients informed by email and WhatsApp, and what triggers each message.
Fingaon sends notifications by email and WhatsApp at the moments that matter, so you and your clients don't have to chase updates.
What triggers a notification
- Requests — created, accepted, cancelled, completed.
- Quotes — sent, accepted, rejected.
- Payments — a pay order is raised or paid; a payment completes or fails.
- Invoices — issued, and when a payment settles.
- Documents — requested, uploaded, verified.
- Team & messaging — a member is invited, a message is posted on a request.
Why WhatsApp matters here
Many Indian clients live in WhatsApp, so Fingaon leads with it. Client notifications often carry a login-free action link — pay, upload, or accept a quote in one tap without signing in. See Login-free action links.
Keeping messages reliable
- Make sure each client's email and phone are correct and verified — unverified contacts may not receive messages.
- If a client says they didn't get something, the status in your Workspace is always the source of truth; point them there while the message catches up.
Tip
Clear, prompt notifications are the cheapest way to reduce "any update?" messages — let the platform do the chasing so you can do the work.
