Deliver Services

Do the work, request documents, move the request through delivery, and keep the client informed.

After a client accepts the quote, you deliver the work and keep the request moving so the client always knows where things stand.

Own the work

Every request should have a delivery owner — a clear accountable person. From the request detail, assign yourself or a colleague; unassigned work is the most common cause of things stalling.

Request documents

Ask the client for anything you need. They're notified by email and WhatsApp and can upload from the Hub or a login-free link — no sign-in required. As documents arrive you verify them, and the request stops being blocked on input.

Move it through delivery

The firm view of a request is granular. Use the states to signal exactly where things are:

ACCEPTED
DOCS_PENDINGwaiting on client
IN_PROGRESS
AWAITING_INPUTback to client
COMPLETED
  • Use AWAITING_INPUT whenever you're waiting on the client — it makes the hand-off visible on both sides.
  • Break larger engagements into milestones so the client can follow progress stage by stage.

Collect money along the way

Some work needs payment during delivery (a government fee, a staged milestone). Raise a pay order — see Collect payments. Anything collected is credited on the final invoice.

Tip

Keep the request as the single source of truth — documents, messages, and money all live on it, so the final invoice reconciles cleanly at the end.
