Create & Send Quotes

Build an accurate quote — fees, GST, and pass-through costs — and send it to the client.

A clear quote is what turns a request into confirmed work. Fingaon builds the commercial figures for you from the line items you add.

Deliver the Service

  1. 1

    Add line items

Add the professional fee and any pass-through costs. Mark each charge's nature so tax is applied correctly:

    • Revenue — your professional fee (GST applies if you're registered).
    • Pass-through — money remitted in full to a government or third party (no GST, no platform fee).

  2. 2

    Review the totals

Fingaon computes the service fee, GST (18% on the service value if you're GST-registered), and the total. See GST vs non-GST.

Next →Send it to the client.

  3. 3

    Send

Sending moves the quote to SENT and notifies the client by email and WhatsApp. The client can accept it — including via a login-free link.

Next →On acceptance, the request is ACCEPTED and you can begin delivery.

A quote can also end as REJECTED or EXPIRED.

The quote is not the invoice

The quote authorises the work. The final invoice you issue after delivery reconciles anything collected via pay orders. See Pay Order vs Invoice.
